FAQ
Questions, answered.
What is Perfly?
Log what you did each day in ~30 seconds — or let Perfly pull it from your calendar. Perfly turns it into a weekly report now, and a performance review and résumé over time. One input, three audiences.
Do I have to connect my calendar?
No. Manual logging works fully on its own. Connecting Google Calendar just lets Perfly draft your day for you so you mostly review instead of write.
Do you train AI on my data?
Never. Your entries are used only to generate your own reports and record — not to train any models, and not for advertising.
Is my data secure?
Yes — encrypted in transit and at rest, calendar tokens stored encrypted, and access scoped to your account. We request the minimum calendar permission (read-only). See the Privacy page for details.
How does the daily loop work?
Jot notes through the day → tap "Structure today" to turn them into clean items → keep, edit, or drop each one → "Confirm today" locks the day into your record. You can reopen a day if you need to change it.
What is my weekly report built from?
Only the items you kept (confirmed) during the week. Tweak it, switch between bullets and narrative, then copy or export as Markdown.
Can Perfly help with performance reviews?
Yes. Perfly keeps confirmed work items grouped by project and impact, so self-review season starts with evidence instead of memory work.
Does Perfly help track KPIs or work impact?
Yes — proactively. When work deserves a number, Perfly asks for the exact metric that would strengthen it most: at daily confirm, in the weekly report, and on résumé bullets.
Can Perfly turn work achievements into resume bullets?
Yes. Over time, your confirmed accomplishments can become resume-ready bullets based on the work and metrics you actually recorded.
How much does it cost?
Start with a 30-day free trial. After that, Perfly Pro is $6.99/month or $69.99/year.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes — you can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings.
Can I use Perfly without connecting any work tools?
Yes. Manual logging is a first-class workflow. Integrations only help fill a draft faster; you still choose what becomes part of your record.
Can Perfly tailor my résumé to a job description?
Yes. Keep one master résumé, then paste a job description to generate a tailored variant in minutes. Every bullet stays backed by work you actually recorded.
What is the mock interview?
An AI interviewer rehearses the real conversation with you — a performance-review chat grounded in your own review and goals, or a walk-through of a specific résumé and its job description. A coach then debriefs your strengths, gaps, and sharper answers.
Can my AI coding agent log my work for me?
Yes. Perfly ships a hosted MCP server — connect Claude Code or any MCP client, and your agent submits summary worklog items into Today. Everything still lands as a pending draft you confirm.
I never remember the numbers — can Perfly help me quantify my work?
Yes. When you log something that deserves a number, Perfly asks the exact question worth answering — "how much faster?", "how many users?" — while your memory is fresh, and asks again at report and résumé time if it is still missing. Quantified items make stronger review evidence and résumé bullets.
