Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Perfly. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable.
Who we are
Perfly ("we", "us") provides a work-logging tool that turns daily notes into weekly reports, performance-review evidence, and résumé material. This agreement is between you and Perfly.
Your account
- You need an account to use Perfly. Keep your sign-in secure and don't share it.
- You're responsible for the activity under your account.
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country.
The service
Perfly is provided on a subscription basis. We may add, change, or remove features to improve the product. If we make a materially adverse change to a paid feature, we'll give reasonable notice.
Connected services
You may optionally connect third-party services such as Google Calendar. By connecting a service, you authorize Perfly to access and process only the data described in ourPrivacy Policy for the user-facing features you request. Google Calendar access is read-only and limited at runtime to your primary calendar. Perfly does not create, modify, or delete Google Calendar events. You may disconnect a service at any time. Third-party services remain governed by their own terms and may change or become unavailable independently of Perfly.
Subscriptions & billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected at checkout).
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency; any taxes are added as required by law.
- Payments are collected by our third-party payment provider, acting as merchant of record where applicable.
Free trial, cancellation & refunds
- New accounts include a free trial. You won't be charged until the trial ends.
- You can cancel anytime from Settings. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the paid period already billed.
- If you're charged in error or are unhappy with a payment, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we'll work with you on a refund.
- Except where required by law, payments for periods already used are non-refundable once the billing period has started.
Acceptable use
Don't use Perfly to:
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or store unlawful content;
- attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- resell or redistribute the service without our permission.
Your content
You retain any rights you have in the content you provide and records imported at your direction. You grant us only the limited permission needed to operate the service for you — accessing, processing, and storing that content; generating structured items and reports from it; and displaying it back to you. Connected-service data is handled only as described in our Privacy Policy and for the user-facing features you request. We never use your data to train general-purpose AI or ML models.
Our intellectual property
The Perfly software, brand, and design are ours. These terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.
Availability & disclaimers
We work hard to keep Perfly reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. AI-generated content is a draft to help you — review it before relying on it.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Perfly is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Perfly and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, your access ends and your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. If we make significant changes, we'll update the date below and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Perfly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
